LITTLE BRAVE FIGHTER, EDISON LAU!

Last Month October we received a sudden and devasting news from SIL Jennifer, no one would like to hear abt this..her cute Edison got diagnosed with Neuroblastoma cancer, stage 4. Everyone in the entire family were shocked and find it unbelievable as he was such a healthy and energentic boy in our eyes!

Alrite, I just wish n wish n hope that the god is joking with us. We pray hard for the report out to be untrue..but..things did not turn out what we wish for..

We went tru all sorts of websites, media channels to seek the best treatments for Edison, we hope to give him best we can do, no matter how tough the roads are. We then arrange to meet docs from KKH for advise of treatments then a second opinion from Mount E. SIL Jenn and Bro Ed then decide to let Edison to do treatments in KKH and then surgery in Mount E. Everything all planned for now..

I hope everyone who see my blog can help me put Little Edison in your prayers. And I believe he is very brave to brace through all difficulties during chemos..Edison, 姑姑 know you can do it rite! Prove it to me and jiejie Amanda! We want to see you back in good health very soon!

 After I heard abt the news of Little Edison with Neuroblastoma cancer, I felt sad and helpless..I duno what I can do to save this little boy..I went to the famous Bugis Temple 观音庙 to pray for his good health, to pray for his endurance for the upcoming treatments..and I am glad, I got a good lot! Thanks god! Hope my wish come true, I know God wan to test this little boy patience, I knew and I believe he can go/pass through all the tough roads you planned. He will be healed!



Finally all arrangement done and Edison had his 1st Chemo at KKH, Cancer ward. He was doing well, and yes he cried, grumbled n shouted whenever there is pain or irritation..*its normal reaction even for an adult*

SIL got to get busy from KKH and TTSH as both son and dad in hospital. She is a strong lady, its not easy to handle but she did it.  

Nevertheless, good health was not in SIL's dad favour, I think his dad pass away after 1week plus stay in the hospital. The situation was bad, with a pass away dad and an awaiting chemo son, life will never be the same for SIL. She need to go to her dad's wake so I helped her out to take care Edison. I was lucky enough, managed to handle Edison well while his mummy not around..here are some pics on Edison admit for his chemo..everything turned well..we are happy and glad that he went through the 1st chemo successfully.

HAPPY MOTHER'S DAY

Anyway, today is a special day which everyone got to send their gratitude to their dear mum. Without mums having us for 10 mths, I dun think we can come into this beatiful world.

Hereby, I wish all mummys out there, Happy Mother's Day!! Please enjoy your life to the fullest!!

My dear Amanda already turned 3 yrs old, I was so happy to see her grown up day by day. And do you know wats the happiest day for me, its Mother's day. I went home after wrk on Friday, when I opened the door, my dear princess came to me with a hand-made flower n said, 'Happy Mother's Day!!'....I was soo touched...Although its not a real flower but its realli melt my heart.

Nowadays, our princess Amanda so smittened by TCS 8 actor, Dai Yang Tian. Cos he had acted in a drama known as 'Ping Pang Yuan'...Its a drama abt table tennis competition, the actor was so handsome that our princess noticed him immediately!!
Even her dad also gone crazy with her, Dad Heeling bought her table tennis bats and also bought her Milo with the advertising actor printing on it...OMg..
